Be ye from the race of halflings, dwarves, elves, wizards, ents, or men… all who share a love of food, friendship, and fireworks are invited!

The Fellowship Gathers Once More

Do you wish you could actually be a part of “the stories that stayed with you”? Feast of the Fellowship is your invitation to do just that.


Experience first-hand the joy of simple times, good friends (old and new), delicious food and drink, dancing under the stars, and celebrating the “everyday deeds of ordinary folk” that bring beauty and light into our lives. All are welcome at tables laden with food, laughter, and lamplight under an open sky.

Held at StarFord Shire Farms in Louisburg, Missouri, this is a celebration for the whole family, from your smallest halfling to your tallest ent. Bring your kin, bring your courage, and bring your costume.

Choose Your Race

Costumes are required for participation in this event, so the continuity of the experience can be maintained for all who are attending. Come dressed as any race friendly to the Fellowship, as simple or as elaborate as you like.

Policies to Know Before You Go

A few house rules so every member of the Fellowship has a safe, welcoming evening.

Costumes Required

A costume is required to attend, so the experience stays immersive for everyone. See Choose Your Race above for details. No exceptions.

No Alcohol

This is an alcohol-free event. No alcohol may be brought onto the property, and none will be sold on site.

No Smoking or Vaping

Feast of the Fellowship is a family-friendly, smoke-free event. No smoking, vaping, or marijuana use of any kind is permitted anywhere on the property.

Outside Food & Drink Welcome

Outside food and non-alcoholic drinks are welcome. Please, no glass bottles or containers, and no alcohol.

Snacks for Hungry Halflings

The feast itself is served later in the evening, so pack a few snacks in case you or your little ones get hungry beforehand. Every good hobbit knows seven meals a day is the proper way to go.

No Firearms

Real firearms, and any prop or replica made to resemble a real firearm, are strictly prohibited on the property.

Swords Welcome, Peace-Bonded

Costume swords and blades are welcome. They must stay sheathed and peace-bonded at all times. Drawing a blade for any reason, including staged combat, is not permitted.

No Pets, Leashed Service Animals

Pets are not permitted. Service animals are welcome in accordance with the ADA. This is a working farm with animals of its own, so for everyone's safety, please keep service animals leashed at all times.

Working Farm, Supervised Kids

This is a working farm. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

Farm Terrain

Feast of the Fellowship is held outdoors on active farmland. Terrain may be uneven. Guests walk the grounds at their own risk, so please wear appropriate footwear.

Accessibility

StarFord Shire Farms has natural grass and dirt pathways, which may be uneven in places. If you have mobility needs or questions about accessibility, please email us in advance at starfordshireevents@gmail.com so we can help plan your visit.

Rain or Shine

Feast of the Fellowship is a rain-or-shine event. Please dress for the forecast. In the rare case that severe weather requires a delay or change to activities, we will email registered ticket holders with updates. Tickets are non-refundable due to weather.

Photos and video are taken throughout the event. By attending, you agree that Starford Shire Events, LLC may use these images and recordings to promote future events, including on our website and social media.

Adult early-bird pricing runs through September 22, 2026, then increases to $112. Age 11 is the adult cutoff. Ages 3 to 10 receive the Young Fellowship price, and children under 3 are welcome at no charge.

What will be on the menu for the Feast?

Middle-earth inspired dishes and desserts, with ingredients grown on Starford Shire or sourced directly from local farms. Because of the nature of this feast, we unfortunately cannot accommodate individual dietary restrictions or requests. We will have some gluten-free food selections available, but please note our kitchen is not a certified gluten-free facility and cannot guarantee against cross-contact with allergens.

Is there a dress code?

Costumes are required for participation in this event so that the continuity of the experience can be maintained for all who are attending. Come dressed as any races friendly to the Fellowship: good wizards, man, dwarf, elf, halfling, ent, or similar. Costumes can be as simple or elaborate as you like. No orcs, goblins, Uruk-hai, Nazgûl, or other villainous characters. No exceptions.

Is this event family-friendly?

Yes. Guests ages 11 and up are considered adult admission. Children ages 3 to 10 receive the Young Fellowship ticket price and enjoy the same full meal as everyone else, and children under 3 are welcome at no charge. This is also a working farm, so children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

What are the event policies I should know?

No alcohol is permitted or sold on site. Outside food and non-alcoholic drinks are welcome, just no glass bottles or containers. No firearms or firearm replicas. Costume swords are welcome but must stay sheathed and peace-bonded at all times, no drawn blades, including for staged combat. Pets are not permitted; service animals are welcome under the ADA and must remain leashed, since this is a working farm with animals of its own. The grounds are natural farmland with uneven terrain, so guests attend and walk at their own risk.

Can I get a refund if my plans change?

Tickets for Feast of the Fellowship are non-refundable. If your plans have changed, we do allow tickets to transfer to another person by updating your ticket info when you open your ticket via the link found in your original purchase confirmation email. We ask that you contact us immediately when this is done, so there is no issue at check-in. Email us at starfordshireevents@gmail.com.
